Arthur Brown Jazz Band

Formed in 1981, the Arthur Brown Jazz Band soon became one of the Midlands premier Jazz bands and appearances followed at Jazz festivals throughout Britain, Europe and the Channel Isles.

Whilst on Tour in the USA and playing in New Orleans, Arthur was made an honoury citizen of the city.

The band are no strangers to radio or television and were invited by the BBC to appear at the Royal Show in the presence of HRH Princess Alexandra.

The ABJB contains six of the top Midlands professional musicians, playing first class Traditional and Dixieland Jazz reminiscent of Mr Acker Bilk and Kenny Ball etc.
