Introducing The Krugerrands… A 4-piece all male band based in the Nottinghamshire area.
The Krugerrands are the perfect choice for any event. Specialising in corporate events, weddings and private parties. All band members are highly skilled and versatile musicians that have extensive experience when it comes to performing on the stage. They 'roll off' classic tune after classic tune and put their heart into every note bent, hit or sung.
Their varied set list is suitable for all tastes; they faithfully cover anything from classic artists like The Beatles, The Kinks and Queen, to modern bands Kings of Leon, Arctic Monkeys and The Killers...plus many more. They offer a high standard of performance and always aim to keep you dancing and singing the night away...
Your Event:
The Krugerrands offer you the opportunity to book 4 accomplished musicians to bring to life some of the most great and loved tunes at your party. Their shows are lively, exciting and varied to suit every guest.
Performance times:
Performances can be split into 2 x 45 or 2 x 60 minute sets to suit the style of your event and an additional acoustic set is also available.
Acoustic set:
In addition to their normal sets, The Krugerrands can perform acoustically lasting 2 x 30 minute sets long. The band play with acoustic guitars and use brushes on the drum kit for a more chilled and intimate atmosphere, such as during drinks or over dinner. Contact the band for more details.
Dressing up:
The Krugerrandss take excellent care of their overall appearance and will dress to suit the event, anything from formal/smart wear such as shirts, ties, trousers and shoes, to a more casual appearance as you like. Feel free to make suggestions to the band and they will do their best to accommodate.
DJ service:
The Band can offer to play background music between sets or provide a DJ service. For a slightly extra fee a member of the band will man a laptop loaded with a large selection of popular songs plus professional DJ software that allows each song to be mixed into the next just like a record deck. Song requests/announcements from guests can be taken and made throughout the night.
N.B. Due to the fact that the band's ‘in-house’ service is a lot less than a normal DJ would charge, it may not be possible for every request to be met. However if you forward any specific requests you’d want the band to include well in advance, they will do their best to obtain them and add them to their collection.
Equipment:
The band have invested heavily in the best possible sound gear and use a top of the range 3900 watt RCF PA system with matched subwoofer speakers to provide a deep and true sound at all their events with superior clarity. Their system can easily handle most event types (anything up to 500 guests). They also have their own self contained stage lighting system of 8x Par 56 cans on stands with 'sound-to-light' controllers as standard, plus floor spot-lights too.
In addition to this, other professional equipment they use includes: top quality Sure & Audio-Technica microphones for all vocals and guitar guitar amps and drum-kit… Wireless ‘In-Ear’ monitors for each member… Fender, Paul Reed Smith and Cort guitars… And a backline comprised of a Pearl Masters drum kit, an Ashdown EVOIII bass stack and JCM and JVM Marshall ‘valve’ Amplification for the electric guitars.
The Krugerrands hold public liability insurance cover up to £1,000,000 and all their electrical equipment is annually P.A.T. tested for safety. (The band can provide copies of these documents should your venue require them).
