THE SUPERLATIVES are the UK’s classiest party band performing at the most prestigious parties in London’s West End and around the UK. They play a wide repertoire of music featuring classic songs from the past four decades and the best of today’s chart hits.
If you are looking for superior entertainment for your corporate event, charity ball, awards night, product launch, private party or wedding THE SUPERLATIVES are committed to providing you with the best possible performance and service. All of our musicians are always smartly dressed. Our men wear suits and gold ties and our ladies are in cocktail dresses or long evening dress upon request. Black tie is also an option for the very smart occasions.
THE SUPERLATIVES can be booked as a 12 piece, 7 piece or 5 piece band depending on your budget. They provide their own top quality 2.6KW PA system suitable for most venues and sizes. They also bring their own band lighting and disco lights for your dance floor. In between their sets they will also play DJ/Disco music to keep the dance floor moving.
The SUPERLATIVES are happy to learn specific songs for your event. Whether it be a first dance for your wedding or office theme tune. We have both female and male vocalists and so literally any song choice is not out of the question! Our Jazz repertoire is often called upon and this includes hits from Cole Porter, Gershwin, Berlin, Nat King Cole, Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald and Miles Davis. Generally the band will play 2 high impact dance sets of around 1hr 15mins each although at weddings it is common to play 3 shorter sets.
